Idén är lika enkel som självklar att den borde kommit för länge sedan. Det som saknas för dom som dagligen åker pendeltåget är ett tillräckligt billigt sätt att få hela familjen med biljett. Alltså vad vi skulle behöva är familje-månadskort för upptill fem(?) personer för en rimlig summa. Tekniskt sätt bör det inte finnas något hinder.
The idea is simple. As I described earlier. Every invention or innovation can be reduced to a name. Presented with a name of an invention could then be enough for your imagination to work on.

Now that you have guessed the name of the invention. You will try to figure out what a gas sponge could be. What could it be used for? What does it do, what does it look like and so on. From my primitive Google search there exist cement that stores some amount of gas. Maybe this sponge could suck up a particular gas from the air.
I was thinking. Maybe there should exist a site where you can present and collaborate on small computing projects. I have lots of ideas that could be tested in a R/Scilab/Matlab environment. I’m sure others also have ideas that they need help to test.
An example of a small computing project I want to test.
Thinking about noise reduction. A start would be to look at a smaller scale of the photo. Usually that scaled down photo contains very little visible noise which is what I want. The objects I can see from that smaller image are the objects I want to keep. When zooming in I want to filter out those pixels that introduce new objects similar to the ones that we would call noise.
The idea is simple. If more school exercises were released under an appropriate creative commons license then you have a legal way to share or modify those. I believe this is necessary to expand and protect the right to education. This open up the possibility of an open and free database of such appropriate creative commons licensed school material. If translated to different languages it would help a lot of people.
When your business depends on consumer satisfaction why not provide the customer with a choice. Similar to physical stores that change their interior a virtual store can have multiple designs. Simply by pressing a button. Would it then be possible to have a familiar long term design and one rapidly improving one at the same time?
The idea is to keep a paper backup of your contact list. On a smartphone this is really simple. Download “Contacts to PDF” on android or some similar program. In the program I would recommend you select Csv and load that converted file into LibreOffice Calc. This is because you can easily filter or remove unwanted entries in Calc. If you convert it to a PDF directly this is not possible. After you sorted the Csv file in Calc and saved it you can export it to a PDF or print it.
The idea is simple. When searching for new ideas you might want to try this approach. First pick a problem you want to think about. When you get stuck the idea is to simply change the target, change the problem to a similar one or one that you think resembles the first. After thinking about some similar problems. The answers you get when thinking about the first problem might be suitable for the similar problem. With this you get to utilize the work you put down thinking about the first problem. Then going forward with the similar problem might reveal something about the first problem.
I don’t know if this idea will work or not. But before you have a system good enough for people to pay for. You could have a system adapted for people to support their friends and relatives in an easy manner. In the example below moving the mouse to the right side border or some corner will show a pop up question area. Pressing this will initiate a chat window. In that you can write your question with text and images. Since we have a lot of free software on Linux. It might be a good idea if the most popular software are supported through this system besides the operating system. I’m thinking GIMP, LibreOffice, OpenShot, Audacity, VirtualBox and so on. If people were then able to improve their productivity in this way maybe they would reward this service.
Thinking about this further. I would think it would be smart if the company or the employer would pay. Even if the questions to the chat support seem to be non work related. A more IT savvy staff is a good thing.
My idea is simple. With connected e-ink displays for the price of items in physical stores. I thought why not implement an easy way for the customer to make a choice based on the popularity. Similar to the way you choose software based on the number of downloads or ranking here you could see what items are popular with some number representing the popularity. I think this could work for a lot of groups of items. The idea is to get information like the combined preference of a lot of customers to the individual customer in an easy way.
I think this additional information could convince you to buy a kind of product you might not have tried otherwise. Now that you see that it is popular.
I believe we need to update a lot of our existing tools. To enhance the working capability of people in places without much electricity or non at all. The tools need to be very low power but with the same standard. The reason for the low power requirement is that it would be good if they were able to be charged by a solar panel. I believe besides a battery powered sewing machine a cordless screwdriver both could be made very useful in rural areas without electricity. If they could be charged by cheap solar power similar to phones I think it could be a success. I saw one company that shared batteries for different tools. I think this is good because if you have at least one extra battery one battery could be charged during use.
I’m not a programmer so this will just be naive speculation on my part. Inspired by machine learning like face recognition. The idea is that not only are the inputs filtered to give valid outputs but output are also analyzed by computer recognition. If you get unexpected results, or unintended behavior. The recognition will catch this. If this works it would be like if a vehicle like an airplane had freewill. The output is all the time recognized and coinciding with the will (software) of the airplane.
A simple programming idea. When reading a children story on the tablet it should be easy to have sound effects. I think you could just add a button or an image in HTML that when pressed plays a sound or starts an animation with the sound. It could be pig sounds, strong wind or such. So when you read a story you could then time in some effects.
The idea is simple. Why not to use something like ”Siri” or some other personal secretary as a smart answering machine. With this you get a system also capable of taking questions or instructions from the caller.
The idea is simple. When watching science videos or other educational videos. Pause the video and make a guess of what the conclusions will be or something about the findings. I then assume that if your guess is accurate then there is a chance that the closely related additional guesses you made could also be true. With this you get information that you then can do research about. Otherwise if it does not coincide you get critical thinking.
Since schoolbooks can be kind of dry and boring. I thought. Why not create a magazine series around the subjects. Here you can split the theory of the book into a number of magazines. I don’t know if it should be like a comic book but it could be enhanced with videos and conversations in podcast form to make it more fun. I think this could be a way to get adapted learning. Where students can select among many magazines that are more or less advanced. These magazines are not meant to be a replacement for the traditional books.
This idea is simple. Why not have card terminals that outputs an audio version of the text. For those who have trouble seeing I believe at least the amount should be spoken to them in those high quality computer voices. I think it will also catch some errors where for instance some extra zeros has been added.
Looking at NASA’s “Impossible” Engine Actually Worked article I wondered if there should exist something like an engine cell. What if you can make this EmDrive or some other device very small. Then you would have something as flexible and scalable as low power computer chips.

I think we can give valuable computer knowledge to the young if there exists laptops kits which they can put together. Similar to stationary computers. They would select among different hardware. Since we have mini PC’s (the Raspberry Pi) which do not require a fan and are very small the construction should become easier. Maybe one could select among different small plugin boards with different CPU’s and memory. If you can get a powerful enough laptop by todays standards I think it could become something popular. Since this is about knowledge the computers should of course run different Linux flavors by default.
I wonder if this strategy or something similar could work. With free online education I believe its possible for a lot of people to get the education needed to begin an online job. The idea is then that people can continue or begin a new job with some help even if they become a refugee or move to a different country. If this idea works it will be a win-win for both the refugees and the hosting countries. In any case more ideas for online jobs are needed.
Too often I read about yet another fire in the poorest areas. Looking at forest fire protection solutions. I thought. Why not have a tall pole with a camera on top? With this they could monitor the area both day and night. I hope something like this could prevent these fires.
As a way to create more internet jobs. Does it not make sense to have an actual person present at your website? A Person that could take care of the visitors as a complement to the telephone answering desk.
The idea is then to have an actual person answering questions directly on the web page. It could be a sales person at a retailer or an info person at the municipalities. I think it would be easiest to have the questions and answers in a text chat format. Maybe a dedicated company could handle an online info chat as a service to many other companies.
As an example of seeking out problems in innovation. I looked at the cardboard box. Here you have valuable stuff that people want to protect. The problem is that many use scotch tape to reinforce the box and make it more water resistant. This takes a lot of work and could be avoidable. The idea is then to sell a box that is already or partly reinforced and water resistant.
With millions of refugees needing education. Maybe we should think about multiple ways to improve it. What if we had a primary and secondary curriculum preloaded on a tablet that is adapted for teaching. Here a grown-up non teacher could teach a single class with the tablet as a teaching aid after some training. I don’t know what the content would be but surely it should contain lesson plans for each day, videos, exercises all adapted for a teacher.
I think the content could be useful for parents also as a way to help their children.
My idea is pretty simple. Just by changing the name of an existing battery from a direct current battery to an alternating battery. I wondered, what would an alternating battery mean?
Now an alternating current battery might not make much sense. However after seeing the below image showing the current density in a particular battery. I thought why not make the current density more even over time across the surface.
Maybe one solution would be to use one or more extra pairs of plus and minus which you then let an electronic switch alternate between. Those pairs are connected at smart locations around the battery so you get a more even distribution over time. However only a single pair is active at one time.

The idea is that an electronic switch alternates between the different pairs. Creating a more even current density in the battery over time during discharge and possibly charging. The optimal time between active pairs is something I don’t know though.

I was thinking. There should be an online cooking course that teaches you how to make good nutritious foods or dishes that are environmentally sustainable. Since its such an import subject there should be much information. I believe the course should be self paced, have videos and assignments. For fun photos of the foods from the learners could be shared. I believe maybe such a MOOC could make a difference. For the environment and maybe for all of those who need to loose weight.
