One thing I think the scientific community gets wrong is the need for generating electricity from various small heat resources. As a way to get a higher efficiency so I assume. Looking at the system as a whole there are huge expensive energy guzzlers like air condition units. Where you need to transport heat.
Therefore I wonder if there should exist something like a thermoelectric paint. The thermoelectric paint I had in mind is not suppose to generate electricity. The different layer paint patterns is suppose to transfer heat like a heat pump using electricity. Simulating a very large Peltier element.
With a paint like this it should be easier to have a very large cooling area. The size should make it easier to cool a large volume effectively.
